we are attending a non-NY wedding this summer, and neither the bride nor groom are even from the east coast. i think we are going to send them a registry gift because i think that's what's considered proper in the midwest/south, but a gift in the NY gift price range

Re: Wedding Gifts (with poll)
Thats why i was asking. It seems alot of people are asking for our registry again- mostly OOT'ers. and work people. Im wondering if i should add more stuff. I wasnt expecting so many people to ask.

Re: Wedding Gifts (with poll)
to be honest, it will depend on what is left on their registry shortly before the wedding. they live in texas now but are getting married in missouri, so we would be shipping any registry gift(s) to their house in texas. if there's not enough left on their registry to make up a nice gift (they are close friends and FH is a groomsman) we might just give a check.

I would give cash or check But alot of OOT bring gifts, I know I got a couple of gifts the day of the wedding. The bridal attendants put them in the bridal suite so that no one sees them
