I wish I could have gotten mine from Helen's in Commack! Such an great experience. Unfortunately, I found THE dress at Macy's in Smithaven so I had to order from there because their dresses are exclusive to Macy's.
I had great experiences at Village Bridal in Babylon and Bridal Suite of Bay Shore, which is where I ultimately bought my dress.
Im getting mine from Fantasia Bridal in Rocky Point and they have been amazing
NY Bridal Outlet and Botique Next to Adventureland in Farmingdale. Half the floor is all sample sample sale! :)
I got mine from David's bridal. The price was great but the overall experience was terrible. I would not suggest them
This is my 2nd time around, I got a great dress from David's during their sale for $99, just needs to be altered which I will bring to a tailor I've used before-not using David's
I went to Demetrios in Manhasset, the best experience overall from all the places I visited while dress shopping. Monica's bridal in Brooklyn has an amazing selection as well.

I second the rec for NY Bridal Outlet in Farmingdale. They had a great selection and everyone that works there is knowledgeable and pleasant.
I got from wedding plaza in floral park but I've gone to bridal elegance in Elwood/east north port for other things such as bridesmaids, mob, and accessories and they've been great!
