For all you ladies who have found your dress what is the average of the deposit you put down on the dress. I'm going shopping Thursday for it and figured I would put 500 down but I'm not sure if that's to little or to much. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I put down half, which was $600. That's usually what they want to order the dress.

I had to put 50 or 60% of the full cost of the dress. I think that's standard with most bridal stores.

I ordered my dress at David's Bridal and had to pay in full.

I bought my dress at Pronovias and had to put down 1/3
I think my situation is a little different. I put down $200 as a tracking deposit on my dress and will be making payments starting in october to order my dress. My dress is actually from the 2011 line so the shop advised me to at least put a tracking deposit on it in case it gets discontinued.
To ORDER my dress... I have to have down half!

I don't know what the exact percentage was but I think it was about half. Maybe a little more

I don't remember because my mom paid so I didn't pay much attention (I'm bad lol) but I think it was about 50%.
