i just read something on here someone posted about a gown going up in price a few weeks/months after she had looked at it...
is this typical? do designers/stores prices generally go up each year/season? if i see a dress now, should i snatch it up in fear that in 2 months it could be $500 more?
was wondering if you gals have encountered this. thanks!!

I heard of this twice before the post here. Both times it was a designer & the gown became very popular, so they raised the price....but I have not heard of it happening on a grand scale.

I went to the bridal suite of centereach to try on dresses for my sis wed. I found my dream dress but it was more then 2 years before my wedding. I went back with myMIL and we put a hold on the dress. We put $50 down and if it is discon't, they will call me so I can order it. I went in yesterday and the price went up $100. But my paper has a price on it, so I assume I will get it at that price. Not sure if it helps, but its some info.
