when did your gowns come in?? they said mine will come in on Nov 1st. which leaves me 1 month before the wedding. is that enough time?? i didnt think of it until now

Hmmm....I think mine came in 2 months prior. 1 months seems short. Then again, I had my final fitting yesterday, and I feel like I've tried on my dress so many times that I'm bored with it.

Mine came in at the end of August. My first fitting is next week--6 weeks before the wedding. They could do alterations with one month, but it is cutting it close in case anything was wrong with the dress (not to scare you).

oh dear... i am scared.. hopefully it will even come in time!! what would i do!! luckily i would only have to go to 1 fitting. wish me luck

Mine was supposed to come in at the end of June and it's still not in. I was freaking out that it was cutting it too close and the dress place keeps telling me not to worry, they could have it ready to go in only a few days time. But of course I can't help but worry about it.

You'll be okay. I got my first fitting 5 weeks before my wedding and needed 4. If you think you will need only 1 (even 2) you will be just fine.

I ordered mine in April and it came in end of August. It might depend on when you ordered it.

I ordered my gown in January and it came in in August- my first fitting isn't until the first week in November- they think my wedding is 12/8

mine came in in june and i tried it on once. i haven't had an official fitting yet, but they told me i should schedule one by mid-october. luckily i don't need much done ... just a bustle and some minor alterations. i had a hollow-to-hem so i don't need to have it hemmed!

I think you have enough time-most brides only have 2-3 fittings so you should be ok

i got my dress eons ago but am not going for my first fitting till 4 weeks before. The reason people need many fittings is because their weight can fluctuate etc. Seamstresses work quick so dont worry a bit!

Even tho I have had my dress for months I didn't go for a first fitting til last week, 3 1/2 weeks before the wedding!!!! They can do it in days, it's there job!

I personally wouldn't worry. You will have enough time, because you would be considered higher priority than anyone else getting married later than you-so even if you need 3 fittings, they will manage it, so no worries! I had my first today and my second and my next will be 3 weeks before. At pickup, they will also have you try on your dress to make sure no last minute alterations are needed!
