I ordered my dress from adriennes. My wedding is July 30, i had them put in my contract that the dress was to come by april 15. Now they tell me that it is scheduled to be delivered by May 1. IS that late??? should I be worried? I called to ask if they can give me a swatch of my gown and the swatch of the sash that goes around it so that I can die my fg's bow to match my bow and so that I can pick out fg's dress in the same color as mine and I could work on my shoes. She said I get a swatch when I get my dress ????? I told her when my BMs ordred their dress i got a swatch, why can't i get one for my dress. She said she would have to call me back. I don't get it. Why can't I get a swatch? Is this normal?

Considering they put a promise date on your contract I would DEMAND a swatch. Tell them that if you do not receive it you will not have enough time to get the bow dyed. Also you will have enough time for the fittings. That's almost 2 month I wouldn't worry about it. If they give you a hard time about the swatch I would contact the gown designer immediately and tell them the situation.

I don't think that you have anything to worry about. You usually don't go for you 1st fitting until 5 weeks before. You'll have plenty of time to do what has to be done

I personally thing you will be fine and there is plenty of time for your fittings. I wouldn't worry.
My wedding is in June and my dress came in about 2 months ago and all I want to do is go to the bridal store and put it on!!!!! SO personally, I wish it didn't come in so early. My first fitting is next week, which is less than 4 months from my wedding. I think 2 months is plenty of time.
I don't mean to scare you, but I have heard crooked things about adriannes. This is the one in Bayshore on Main Street?

Yeah, i am a bit worried. Actually my dress was fairly expensive and it was not a designer dress. They get it made specially for their store. It looks like a vera wang kind of style. I think I have a picture up here somewhere. I will try to find it and paste it.
Hi Wedding date twin! I would not be worried, as that is a lot of time between May and the end of July. You have plenty of time for all the fittings etc. As far as a swatch goes you can ask them for one now as they prolly have x-tra material from past brides in your exact manufaturer and color to give to you.
I am not expecing my gown to come in any earlier then late may.
