want to wear my mothers gown from 1969. Was not preserved, has stains. Anyone know of a wedding gown doctor? Also needs alterations. Please help!

Carol I'm sure that if you take it to a wedding gown shop that also does alterations, they'd be more than happy to take a look at the dress and fix it up a bit for you. Just take it to any local shop, of course one that you'd trust and have them work their magic on it. Good luck. I'm sure it will look beautiful. Vickfl77

I know a great seamstress in Coram. You might want to try and have it cleaned first? If the stains dont come out can you work around them?
