I will be going gown shopping for the first time next week. Is there anything I should take with me or wear?

Re: Wedding Gown Shopping
just a strapless bra. you bring shoes and your undergarments when you get your fittings.

Re: Wedding Gown Shopping
have a strapless bra and if you have some heels that are comfortable, bring those too. they have shoes at the salons to wear when you try on but i always felt better in my own shoes even if they weren't the ones i would have on my actual wedding day.

I wore boyshort panties instead of a thong simply because I knew that I would be getting undressed in front of the Bridal Attendant and I felt more comfortable in boyshorts.
I brought a strapless bra, but they gave me a better one and they gave me shoes too.

Same here with the boyshorts... I felt uncomfortable being too naked in front of a stranger.

Definitely modest underwear, and make sure ur, um, groomed. The first time I went to David's Bridal the girl came in with me, and I was mortified. Only time she came in though, I went back and no one came in, and other stores I went to no one came in either. I would suggest erring on the side of caution though.
