Paradise Bridals in Patchogue - they were very nice there and had a good selection.

I agree I been to a few places and I was most impressed here. Their selection is huge and the sales people are very friendly. price are good too!

I posted this same question about a week ago. Make sure you call for appointments, otherwise they will not be happy if you just walk in.

I got the following answers for places for dresses:

Helen's Bridal in Commack

Macy's Smith Haven Mall

Bridal Suite in Bayshore~I liked, but didn't find what I was looking for.

Adrienne's in Islip~Ask for Chris, then use Cleo for Alterations. I went last week, and Chris picked out 5 dresses for me...I like 4 of them right off the bat on me. I am going back to look at more dresses. The quality of the fabric seemed nicer here than any of the other salons I went to.

Angel's Bridals in E. Islip~Nice people, but I didn't find anything I fell in love with.

Fantasia Bridal in Rocky Point~ again, didn't find anything that I even looked good in.

Oh, and I wouldn't reccomment David's bridal, their customer service truly stinks (just went this weekend) and for the amount of money that you will spending on your dress, I would not waste my money on the dresses. The fabric felt like foam to me. It was very weird.

Not only that, you get a person helping you (who is also helping other people at the same time) and you are only allowed to try on 9 dresses per appointment. Which at a salon, a good one, they'll try on every dress if you want. Plus, they will know what styles will look good on you. At David's bridal, they don't know what will and will not flatter your figure.

Wedding Center is good to get ideas of various designers.
DAvid's Bridal -big selection, their own dresses

don't like the customer service at either.

Bridal Garden in Bethpage-great customer service.
Renate's in Lindenhurst-pretty good customer svce

OMG! I love the Bridal Garden in Bethpage. I picked out my dress there two weekends ago and they ordered and had it in last week. They are so sweet there and made a nerve racking experience into a wonderful one.

I got mine at Lidia's in Copiague.

Try Bridal Elegance in Dix Hills which is www.gownfind.com. They have been giving better quotes

Don't you love Lidia and her daughter?

I've been to Fantasia in Rocky Point and Centereach Bridal Suite. I liked them both, but I have to say I preferred Bridal Suite just for the level of service and attentiveness. At Fantasia, I couldn't find the woman helping me, so I just went out in the Maggie I was wearing to grab more dresses to try on!

I got mine from RK Bridal in Manhattan after I went shopping at a lot of stores down here in DC. RK's selection was great, and I ordered it online and I got my dress for about 75% off the retail price. I'd definitely recommend them. Olga is fabulous!

It depends what your looking for - If you could care less about customer service, I've heard great things about RK Bridal in NYC - But ifyou're like me, and get TOTALLY confused w/o some help ...I LOVED Bridal Reflections both in Massapequa and Carle Place (Carle Place is a bit more 'snooty' but who cares ? YOU are the one buying ......)
