We have had people that are not attending our wedding send us wedding presents; I would like to send them a wedding favor and a formal thank you card from our photographer. When do I send the the favor? Do I send the favor now with a generic thank you card to acknowledge that we received the gift, and then send a professional photo thank you after the wedding? Or do we wait & send the favor with the professional thank you?
Is there a proper way to do this or it it personal pref?

I might send a regular thank you now just so they know you received their gift and if you want a formal thank you and favor after the wedding
