So I have curly hair and FH loves when I have it straight. I used to do it all the time when we were first dating (Ok a little secret - like for the first few months we were dating I would go to get it straightened for the weekend. He still doesn't know this and thought I just did it myself. LOL).
Anyway he says to me today - you're going to look so beautiful for the wedding. And you're going to wear your hair straight, right?
Um OK I guess I am. LOL But I still want it to be half up and have some body to it. Why does it have to have opinions about things???
I thought he would just leave me to all this stuff.

you are so lucky your FH cares mine doesn't, mine wishes i would just do it without him and leave him alone with the subject. My thing always is do whatever u think will look good you are going to be a beautiful bride so do whatever you want. you can always put some body into it with it being striaght too.

I too have a FH who is very verbal and full of ideas. lol If you want him to be involved you could always let him check out ur hair post hair trials or just accept his opinion and do whatever you want.

Groomzillas!!
Mine was like 'you're not going to wear it all up are you?' I was like uhhh I don't know yet. I was considering an updo.
So now he suggests wearing my hair down for pictures and the ceremony and then getting it put up for the reception. We'll see how much it costs.

haha I have the opposite problem.. my FH wants my hair curly!!
Go with what you like. He's going to love your hair that day whether its straigh or curly!!

My hair dresser is fh and I's close friend and my caution of honor. when he started saying something about my hair she was like ' you don't get a say in that that's my thing.' I was like greaaaaattttt.

omg! Groom's are cute, but overwhelming sometimes. Gosh! There was a sale on champagne flutes, so I tried to order them, but he wants to make sure he approves the design.
Wear it any way you like and tell the Groomzilla to back off! At least just a little!!

FH is really starting to turn into a mini groomzilla! I am totally doing what I want I figure the day of he'll be too busy to realize it anyway!
