Wedding in March 2011 instead

i wanted May 2011 during memorial but its too expensive for 100-150 near a waterfront..

all we hear is $80 + w/o tax and 20%

Are their any decent places on LI near the water for $55-60 or I am pushing it?

I think March seems to work with that.. but now I am think I am looking at the wrong places..

I never thought I would have a wedding in March.. any march brides out there!!

You can try Sans Souci in Sea Cliff. I don't know what they charge for a wedding but we had our engagement party there last October and it was beautiful. The food was great and everyone had a blast. All everyone kept saying was 'all we need is a priest' .... Honestly, we should have gotten married that day..

March bride over here i think the cheapest you will find is $69 for an evening wedding + tax, gratuity etc. and perhaps 50 - 55 for an afternoon wedding. I could be wrong, but I think this is as low as they go for weddings between January - March. I hope this helps. best of luck.

I'm a March bride... we're getting married the last weekend in March so hopefully it will start getting warm by then...as for the price, ours is way over $60 even in March.... sorry I'm no help....

i got a quote from Westbury Manor for $60 and other places... so i guess this can work!

i just want to save the $3,000 for other important things to me.. like my honeymoon :)

I hear ya on that one!! It's insane when you hear the prices. Never thought I would rationalize spending this much money.

i was on the same boat as your FH.. i was adding crazy stuff on my list and my FH was like 'Are you marrying me or this possessions'.... plus we are saving for a house.... somethings gotta give lol
