Wedding Insurance

I know this has been asked already, but I am interested in getting wedding insurance. Has anyone else done or considered doing this? I know there is a website that other brides have used, but I forgot the name! If anyone can suggest anything or give me their experience with insurance, it would be a great help! Thanks girls!

I am also thinking about insurance. Does anybody else out there have insurance? Is it costly? Worth it?

Re: Wedding Insurance

I purchased wedding insurance. I was concerned since my father is 83 and has had some health problems in the past and wanted to be covered just in case I had to postpone. Wedsafe in the most common one. It was actually very easy and not very expensive. I purchased at $75,000 policy and it cost me $572. The less coverage you purchase, the less it will cost you. If I had to cancel, I would have gotten back every penny I shelled out. The policy also covers photographs, attire, gifts and some other things. Go to www.wedsafe.com

We used Wedsafe also. We got married in September 2001 and since I used to work as a property and casualty agent I knew the value of the coverage. The policy really covers just about everything that could happen. One of the few exclusions is if either person changes their mind. They don't cover for that. The cost is fairly minimal and I think well worth it.
