Re: Wedding Insurance?
Hi Ellie!! Congrats again on winning!! I did not know much about it either. That's why I wanted to see how common it is. My FH actually brought it up. I have put a link to an article that i found.
I considered getting insurance, but chose not too.

Re: Wedding Insurance?
Thank you! Wow, wedding insurance seems great. There are so many details that go into a wedding and if something goes terribly wrong on your wedding day/honeymoon, the insurance could possibly cover it. It also seems relatively inexpensive!

Re: Wedding Insurance?
we plan on getting it because its so inexpensive compared to what you would lose god forbid something happened.
I'm not 100% sure of the details, but thhis is the gist of it. It covers up to a certain amount if your wedding is canceled due to things like health and weather related issues like blizzards etc...think about it, god forbid something happens, the costs will be covered. it can also cover like damages at your hall that were caused by you or guests,
this is the website i had looked into. http://www.wedsafe.com/

Re: Wedding Insurance?
it's pretty affordable ... like $200 or so.
i haven't bought it yet but i'm going to do it through the homeowner's insurance.
you also def want to get your ring insured (i haven't done this yet either so i have no idea about the price) ... so you can prob get your ring and wedding insurance together somewhere
ps: note that wedding insurance does not help if someone gets cold feet ...

Thanks for the info ring is already insured I will have to look and see if they do wedding insurance. Not at all worried about cold feet just the economy and one of my vendors going out of business or a natural disaster
ETA: FH used Jewlers Mutual insurance Company to insure the ring. In case you need someone
