so a college friend is planning an outdoor wedding

its a pretty large event (200 guests)
she said she was getting wedding insurance and was so shocked when i told her i didnt
did anyone get wedding insurace? i never even heard of it!

i was considering it but the RHs are already insured so it would mostly be in case something horrible happened and you have to postpone the wedding
it's not expensive either ... check out wedsafe.com if you want - they do online price quotes

your friend needs it because in a tent wedding, you need extra insurance in case somebody falls and hurts themselves. also if a vendor goes out of business (or is a no-show) and you lost your deposit, you can get it back through the insurance. And as i mentioned in my first post, if something, God-forbid, happens and you ahve to cancel or postpone the wedding, you get your deposits back.
