Anyone doing this to cover their investment and special day just in case anything happens?
Hearing stories about vendors not showing with deposits and payments, its making me a lot nervous especially when my FH and I are paying for the entire thing.

I know... If it wasn't for my colleague mentioning it I wouldn't even know that such existed.
At first I didn't think much of it because I keep on telling myself 'really what are the chances of anything going wrong?' But all that craziness lately about a flower vendor not showing up on a bride's wedding day makes me wonder.

Did a little bit of online research and it really depends on what package plan u get. Some covers vendors that don't show up (florists, video, photo), dress, jewelry, and possibly for inclement weather for ur RH.
FH doesn't care much for it but I feel like its worth getting.

I haven't done a ton of research on it yet b/c my wedding is so far away, but I've read it recommended in a few magazines, so I went to a few websites for a quote. The prices actually seem really reasonable. I figure with all the money that you're spending for your wedding, what is a little bit extra to cover any unforeseen circumstances.

i have discussed with FH and we def want it but have contacted vendor on here and when he emailed me and i tried to repsond the email was no good. if any of you find anything please FM me.
we want it bc we are paying for everything ourselves and it is a hue investment for us and cant afford to lose any part of it. from what i understand it cost about 5% or so of what you want to cover.
