Did anyone get wedding insurance? How much did you pay and what vendor? We're looking into it, and I thought it would be like $200-300. I'm getting quotes closer to $450. It's just a safe way to ensure nothing will ruin your big day, especially when we're putting so much money down!
Thanks!

It protects against cancellation for any reason-- natural disaster, the venue/vendor going out of business, etc. It basically covers your deposit or full payment. My Dad is worried after Hurricane Sandy since we're getting married on the water in LI. Also-- after hearing about the disaster that those couples are having after the guy at ReBar in Brooklyn just closed, declared bankruptcy and took all their money, I think it's safe! All of my vendors have been around a loooong time, but you just never know!
