My Husband's cousin is getting married Sept 6 2009 & we have yet to get an invitation. Shouldn't they have gone out already?

Most people send them out by 8 weeks the latest I think

We're going to a wedding the last week of August and got the invitation about 3 weeks ago.

Yes definately - Invites should go out 2 months before the RSVP date.
If you were invited to the shower you should definately get an invite otherwise that is just nervy

I am 9/4 and sent mine out at the beginning of this week...most people have confirmed receipt!

We only send ours out 6 weeks in advance...our invitation vendor said that was plenty of time!

u would think they should.. We actually just got a invite yesterday in the mail for a wedding on Sept. 5th.. Maybe they just orderd them late...

we sent ours out about 8-9 weeks before the wedding... they are sort of late.. but maybe you will get it this week. Some people send them out 6 weeks in advance or maybe they had a snafu and were delayed.
