Wedding Invitation Prices

Wedding Invitation Prices

I think I have decided on a route I would like to go down for the look of my invites... But considering the wedding is a ways a way and I know some of you brides have already done your invites can you help me with pricing here? I am looking at a company that specializes in the design I would like to use 'Admission tickets' since it's at the aquarium...

This is what they quoted me: 'We are located in Cary, NC, and shipping & handling to NY will be $22.95. Yes, the package will be $750 plus $22.95 for a total of $772.95. When you are ready to proceed with your order, a non-refundable 25% deposit of $193 will be due to contract our design services and begin the unlimited PDF proofing process. That deposit will be applied to your package, and your balance will be due in full when the proofs are finalized and approved for printing.'

Is this a crazy price? A cheap price? I just don't know how to a gage an idea of what others are working with...

Here's the idea

How many invites? Is it an entire suite with reception, accommodations, rsvp? Envelopes?

Those are super cute! I agree with Rcotter90, how many invitarions? 100+? What does the full suite include? Addressing on both the invitations and the return envelopes?

It includes 125 ticket invitations with pocket folders (the pocket folder has all the direction invitation and hotel information on it) and mailing envelopes: $555 & 125 luggage tag RSVP cards with envelopes: $195

So cute! Absolutely LOVE that idea for your venue!! How many invites would you get for that price? I would figure out the price per invite cost for comparison.

Personally I think that's a great price for a custom invitation!! especially if this design is something you guys really wanted. When I was looking for invites quotes were as high as $30+/invitation. I was nauseous lol. I finally found what I wanted and for much less. And I couldn't be happier. Sure you could have probably gotten invitations for as cheap as $1/invitation but it's wouldn't have been an 'admission ticket'. As I said those are really cute and it sets the tone of the reception and where it will be. Great find and great pick!

Awesome - thank you for your input I was so confused about what people pay for invitations and if my price was outrageous LOL! Glad to know its not as terrible as I thought. It's a company called emDOTzee they do customized invitations I just found them through google after I thought up the admission ticket idea!

Re: Wedding Invitation Prices

I dont think its too high for custom invitations. My best friends cost about the same about for 75 and hers were custom made as well for her destination wedding. It was a passport book with a picture of her and her fiance in the front with the barcode that they have on normal passports. And then hotel and travel information and stuff on the other pages (i found them on pinterest for her) And the response card to send back was a boarding pass. It was so worth the money she said. Especially since she was having a lot less at the destination wedding than home she decided to spend the money! They are so perfect!! :)

If its what you want I would say go for it!! :)
