Wedding Invitations..

What are you ladies doing for your envelopes on the invites.
Are you handwriting/Do you have to handwrite???? Can you print it out on the computer???
I don't do calligraphy.
Are you having someone do calligraphy for you???
I am not sure what to do

I didn't want to spend the extra money on the calligrahpy... but i didn't want to ruin the envelopes on the printer.... they get jammed sometimes or print crooked. i bought the large CLEAR labels and printed the addresses on there. VERY easy to do on Word. Also labels werent' too noticeable since they were clear.

Thanks. Is it a special program??
Or its it something I already have on the computer. I already have a program where I can print out address labels. Is it like that.
The evelopes feeds easy into the printer??? I gotta try this.
I am lucky I know how to use the computer for LIW other wise I just check my email and do on line banking and pay bills.
LOL

I haven't decided yet, but my mother has beautiful handwriting. Some people think it's calligraphy. I would probably do hand writing or labels. The envelopes can get stuck, but make sure you have extra.

Good Luck Ladies!!

I'm just feeding them through the printer and using a nice script font. It was pretty easy to do.

We are going to print them on the computer, and if that gets really annoying I will just have someone I know with nice handwriting write them out

too afraid of the printer..... too over budget for a professional calligrapher. I'm doing it myself!

Re: Wedding Invitations..

I am really afraid to print them on my own. I will try it out.
I have alittle time to make up my mind. The invites are coming sometime this week. I probably don' have an more time left to hire someone to do it. But I wasn't planning on hiring anyone. We'll see what happens

Re: Wedding Invitations..

This was a place to save $$$.

I printed them out on my computer. I didn't waste one envelope. Before printing on the envelope I cut pieces of paer to the size of the envelope and test drove those.

What also helped with errors is that I did a mail merge and didn't have to be afraid of errors since I had already proofed and proofed those a million times.

Any q's, feel free to FM me for help.
