i think the first one would look really nice without the 'L' behind your names at the top, with the 'son of ...' included, and with a different font!!!!!

I like the font of the first one - i think it makes your name look absolutely gorgeous (if that makes any sense).
I like the separators too.
Overall I like the first one better. Just give her a better idea of what kind of design you want - did you look through her portfolio?

It is like threaded through the page so there is a slit in the paper, and the ribbon goes above the outsides and under your monogram. does that make sense I don't really know how to describe it

she initially sent me three ideas via e-mail. we choose 1 & she sent us a proof in the mail. we didn't like the shiny color so she sent us another in the mail. know we changed our colors to black & ivory so she just changed the colors for us & posted a new one on-line & i am requesting another proof in the mail.

I guess I just felt bad - FH is yelling saying we will be paying an arm and a leg and to speak up if I don't like them....
