I am thinking of doing my own invites to try and keep costs down, has anyone here made their own pocketfold envelopes, or did anyone make them theirselves? I have seen some done with the pocketfold, but also can get 150 invites for around 300, so was wondering which would be better in the long run for a budget.
Thanks

Re: wedding invites
I was thinking of doing the same thing. Can anyone say how much the DIY pocketfold invites may come out to?
Thanks!

FM Sophie (sr081906) - she made her own invites and they came out beautifully.

Re: wedding invites
I know you can get the card stock at Pearl for 1.86 pers sheet for 19x25, which could give 3 pocketfolds, which is why I was thinking of going that route, could be a LOT cheaper when having to get around 150 invites out

Re: wedding invites
I want to make my own invites too and I have been searching everywhere, including ebay. The cheapest I found was $1 for a pocket fold invite but then you have to pay for the card stock for the actual invite and all the inserts. I don't know what your budget is, but on Divine Inks website they have DIY for $3/invite.
I am making a pocketfold for my invites where I actually cut the paper how I want it.

Re: wedding invites
Hi! I just started getting my things together for my DIY pocketfold. It looks like I will spend $5 per invite (including postage)...which is a lot better than almost $10 (which is what I was quoted for).
I bought the pocketfolds from www.cardsandpockets.com. They are $1 a piece, but if you order certain colors they are on sale for 75cents a piece.
Got all my other supplies at paper presentation. They definitely offered the best prices on the paper.
