I am thinking if I send STD's it will kinda be redundant since three months after recieving the std's guests will get their invites. What do you guys think?
are any of your guests from out of town? If so, it may be better to send the STDs, because they will have more time to arrange affordable transportation and lodging

I sent my STD's at the 6 month mark and everyone loved them. I don't think its redundant. However, I'm sending my invitations at the 2 month mark instead of 3, but 1 month shouldn't really make a difference. If you already bought them send them. If you haven't bought them yet then maybe you should just save your money for something else wedding related.
