FH bought me a beautiful necklace around the time we got engaged. With all the wedding talk lately, he suggested that he would like me to wear that necklace on the day of the wedding.................
The thing is, I wear that necklace every single day- to school, work, everywhere. I think it would be really nice to have something special that I wear for the first time with my gown. I wasn't even suggesting that he get it for me, but he is pretty against the idea. I feel bad because I think it would be nice to have something special and know I wore that on my wedding day. Any thoughts? Am I being unreasonable?
(I also think that something a little smaller would look more appropriate with my gown)

Re: wedding jewelry
lol not a bad idea, but he has enough engaged friends that if he managed to ask around, he would know its not the truth

Re: wedding jewelry
My fiance' did the same thing, but I told him that my mom had already bought something for me to wear, and that that I didnt want to hurt her feelings. Plus it is from swarovski. And she really did. I thought he would be mad but he wasnt. He said no problem. Even though I think he might have been upset just a little. But I know what ya mean, by everyone seeing me wear my necklace every day.
