will I stop getting it when the wedding is over??? Is there a way that I can stop getting now, considering the wedding is less than three months away...and the phone calls too??? do they end?

The phone calls have tapered off, but I still get junk mail, mostly limos and we're not even having them.

the phone calls stop but the junk mail still keeps coming. the worst part is as soon as you go to a bridal show, you are on tons of vendors mailing and phone lists!

if you have luck like ours, you will still get it and some phone calls despite being married almost 6 months!!! we are looking forward to when we move and hoping that it doesn't get forwarded !

I havent had too many phone calls , only one annoying vendor over and over and I can deal with that...and lucikly the mail is mostly postcards ( showing me that those vendors are too cheap to stamp an envelope) LOL...and easily thrown out...it should stop after the wedding, most of these places have your name and wedding date on a file....
Just remember that if YOU WERE in the WEDDING Business, you'd need this way of marketing as well...so albeit annoying, just dont stress over it..

i'm just annoyed b/c it is such a waste of paper, you know? i don't even look at it and therefore, it just goes in the garbage. our vendors are booked and whatever we still do need, i am capable of finding the info myself. ugh.

Same here...it's like 2 years away and my e-mail box is full, not to mention the stuff I get in the actual mail... I obviously want some options to look at, but it's beyond overkill for me!

I only give out my info to vendors that I want contacting me. Other than that, all the bridal shows I go to are under my Will&Grace codename: Anastacia Beaverhousen. I also give them a fake address.

All of my junk mail goes to my parents house in NY. She went to a Bridal Show for me and gave her address bc she couldn't remember mine in Chicago.
I just laugh when she complains how much mail comes for me.

what a good idea to give a fake name & address (I guess I'm not that smart to think of that). It's kinda annoying with the mail everyday and the calls.

Mail - I wouldn't mind - I can just throw that out - it's the NONSTOP phone calls on my cell that are driving me crazy!!!

Yep....I get boatloads of the stuff. I dont mind, they do have to advertise. HOWEVER, I cant stand the phone calls! One particular vendor has called several times, even after i have declined their services. Every time they call, they claim to be affiliated with a different business.
