Wedding List

I'm so mad, my mom and sister just called me - they want to add people to our wedding list. I don't have money yo pay for extra heads - I'm already having problems as is. No one understands this... she was so mad that I didn't invite some people. I'm not that close with them but she wants everyone to come - so she offered to pay. What ever - I told her fine , if she paid I would invite them but I'm def not inviting people I don't like to the wedding.

Sorry - just venting.
My eart is palpatating so hard - I'm gonna have a heart attack!

Some people just don't think My FMIL gave us a list of about 30 people... luckily FH said that he doesn't know the people and doesn't want them invited to the wedding.

As long as she offers to pay for them, make ssure she does and then invite them.

oh my god! this was sooo me the other night!! my mom had on the list my grandmom sister who is in her early 80s and who i've only met like once.... mom and my grandmom both said ' don't worry... she never goes out... she won't come, its just as a courtesy' so i was like ' ok,fine' and was counting her in as one of our ' nos' ( being that we're already inviting more people than can actually fit in the room). so i find out the other day that not only is this great aunt coming BUT i also have to invite her son... JUST SO THAT HE CAN DRIVE HER!!! *** IS THAT?!?!
my mom said ' shes older and jsut wants a night out' yeah well... her little night out is costing not only $75 for HER plate, but $75 for her son's as well!!! GRRR!!! so i try to explain this to my mom but she said ' well thats why dad and i are giving you some money towards it, to cover family'
GRRR!!! SO WHAT?!?! this old lady is taking up space on our list when there are a few other people who i am closer to that i would rather invite to MY WEDDING!!
LOL you can tell this is a very sore subject with me- LOL... and no one but other brides to be can understand it.

how about a MIL who insists she has to invite her friends who (I don't even Know)just because she was invited to their kids weddings.

One thing I'm learning as a bride: never count on a 'definite' no to be a 'definite' no. They'll come in droves!! And I thought I was the only one experiencing this kind of stuff.
