I just cannot swing $150+ for a trial and day of application.
Can anyone PLEASE recomend a girl/counter in the mall, where I can get an application and buy the products I'll need and then have them come to me the day of, since I have the products already? At a lesser cost and I'll have the products afterwards.

Re: Wedding make-up...HELP!
would she travel to Nassau? I have a referral for Este Lauder in Roosevelt, I've just never done this before, do I straight out ask the person, will you come to my house? Is that bad to do at their job?

Re: Wedding make-up...HELP!
I don't know if she'd travel to Nassau, but it couldn't hurt to ask - a lot of times even if they can't, they know someone who will...
I would go to the counter and ask if they have anyone who does wedding makeup that could come to your house the day of...don't worry about asking at their job...a lot of them do this on the side, and it isn't something that's going to interfere with their normal work...

Re: Wedding make-up...HELP!
My sister does makeup at a dept store counter in the South Shore Mall. She will do your make up at the counter for free. She's done one or 2 weddings before for girls who have bought makeup at her counter. I think she's amazing, but I may be biased because she's my sister. She's doing my makeup, of course. FM me if you want her info.

I know the girls at the Clinique counter at Roosevelt Field can help you. Just go up and ask one of them if you can have a trial (its free) and then see who does wedding day makeup. Alot of the girls free lance on the side.

Re: Wedding make-up...HELP!
I got my makeup done by Jackie from I Makeup you, she's only $50 for trial and $125 for day of...
I think you may spend more buying all the makeup to give you the look you want at a counter. I know I get a makeover every year from the counters in Nordstrom for Christmas. This year I did Laura Mercier, and spent well over $300 on the products and that was getting the basics

Re: Wedding make-up...HELP!
I got my trial done by Sachiko who only charged me $75 and she did both hair and makeup! She does makeup/hair as a professional for commercials and movies and she's very reasonably priced.
She's so sweet and nice!! She also insisted on 2 extra hairstyles on me just to see what iwould look like. Love her trial too!
FM me if you want the info. :)

I forgot to say that the trial with Sachiko is actually FREE 'cus she will apply the $75 to the 'day of' wedding makeup fee.
