Wedding Makeup: how much to wear?

Wedding Makeup: how much to wear?

I have a trial tomorrow with Clarin Cohen and I can't decide if I want makeup that is more dramatic (for the photos) or more natural. What's everyone doing? Here are the 2 differences, to me:

Can't see the differences for you

I would say somewhere in the middle. I don't like either pic
Gwens is a little tooo dramatic to me
and Kates looks WAY too little. That will look like your not wearing anything!

i think there needs to be a happy medium. gwen's makeup looks like a person would spend half the wedding touching up her lips or powdering or maintaining. kate's makeup looks beautiful for theoffice. i think her skin looks great, but she needs a bit more color on her cheeks, eyes and lips. nothing about her makeup pops and in photos, she looks too subdued.

Thanks Ladies!

I hate HATE hate eye shadow, for some reason it always runs off and my eyes look dirty - so what about some liquid liner like gwen and a slightly darker lipstick than kate's, bit none of gwen's shiny cheeks?

Gwen Stefani's makeup is a bit harsh.
Why not do something in the middle? Healthy looking skin is always the goal. Too much foundation will look like a mask. I agree that Kate Winslet needs more eye makeup. I like her look but not for a wedding.
Be careful relying on heavy lipstick unless you are totally committed to touch ups. If it wears off - you will look strange in photos since the look was designed with that lipstick.

I'm going for a heavier eye makeup in case the lipstick wears off. I hope to touch it up but I know I get caught up and may not.

Somewhere in the middle- did you try looking at some of the Future Brides' make-up trials in order to distinguish the difference?
