Re: wedding MC

Just try to make it exciting, the B&G groom are already pumped, you've got to get the guests to that level too. Think pep rally!!

As far as how to introduce people. Ask the B&G how they want to be introduced, some want different things:
Mr & Mrs Smith
Mr & Mrs John Smith
John and Jane Smith
Jane and John Smith

Also, include pauses in between, it builds up the suspense, like:
Ladies and Gentlemen..........the moment you've all been waiting for.......I'm proud to introduce.......for the very first time......Mr & Mrs Smith!!!!!!

(I'm kinda excited about this... If I feel confident about my job, more importantly if my FH does... perhaps we can venture out into a business b/c he truly is SUCH a great DJ)

What Cindy suggested was excellent. Perhaps you can accompany him to another event to watch the MC in action there? This way you can take notes and try to incorporate the things you like into your routine.

He normally doesn't have an MC at his events. The people who book him typically don't WANT one. And when he answers a request he tells them, he's strictly music...

I was going to search some videos on youtube. Ive been to 7328728372872 weddings myself and worked at a catering hall so I have a frame of reference (if memory serves) I just would like some advice from people who are actually IN it right now, ya know?
