What are you ladies doing with the money you get from the wedding? Idk what my plan is yet, just wanna hear some ideas.
We are probably going to put some into the bank also to re-coup what we have spent on this wedding, and we are also going to use some of the money for our honeymoon!

In the bank saving for either a downpayment on a house or condo and some we are using for the honeymoon!!!!!
We're going to use some of it for the HM, and the rest will be for savings for later and maybe a few things for the apartment now.

Same here. Hoping to get back about half of what we're paying for the wedding.

Going to any credit cards payment we have towards our wedding. Hoping to have it paid it off by then but I keep using it! Our honeymoon and I want to redo our bathroom. It needs help! I also want to install another bathroom in our finished basement. I'm sure I won't get that much to do all these things but we can all dream!
We're getting our basement finished! It's the whole reason FH wanted the house...going to double our square footage, and get a second bathroom out of the deal.

I'm curious how much people will give?
I think people know to double the plate. I always followed that. But do people really know how much a plate costs? I'm going to a friends wedding in two weeks. I plan to give 250 to 300. Is that even enough? I guess it also depends on your relationship to the couple?
