Besides the songs that you are dancing to for your first dance or with your fathers, are there any songs that you MUST have play at your wedding?

Re: Wedding Music
I love Spanish music, so I really want a few salsa and meringue songs. FH loves reggea... he even wanted Our wedding song to be 'Is this love', by Bob Marely, so lots of reggea as well.

Re: Wedding Music
We have to play Bon Jovi's Living on a Prayer, Meatloaf's Paradise By The Dashboard Light, and Don McClean's American Pie. I'm sure there will be others over the course of two years.

Re: Wedding Music
I do have to say, I went to a wedding over the weekend and the bride and groom had a lot of MUST PLAY songs. Well, the DJ didn't really want to play any of the guests songs because they wanted to stick to what the bride and groom wanted. I found that if they mixed it up more people would have danced.
I have a DO NOT play list .... I dont want any of the guest participation songs like the electric slide or the macarena I hate hate hate them !! Also no playing 'it's raining men' or 'I will survive' and absolutely not 'last dance' I hate when dj's use that as the last song they play!
But I do want bon jovi and also some songs that remind me of my dad!

Re: Wedding Music
As much as I hate Country music I do have to find a song to play because my father, one of my brothers and my uncle like country. I also have to figure out a popular french canadian song since I will have people from Quebec there.
