Wedding Music w/ poll

My FH is insisting that we play the 'chicken song' at our wedding. I can't stand the song but he insists that it is a song that has been played traditionally at weddings in his family. We decided to let you guys vote. Do you think that we should play this song. Please vote. TIA

My FH is the same way!! He wants to play all those cheesy group dance songs. I hate them, but I think I am going to humor him since its his day too and this is the ONE thing that hes actually had an opinion on

we are not playing any group songs. although i have heard from some family members that they want to do the electric slide.

I will just have to tell the dj no requests

I say let him have it-he has probably given into your requests for the most part bcecause honestly, we all know that though TWO people get married, we brides have the final say in 99.9 percent of things. Its one silly little song-let him have it. Its not like its going to take away from the day.

I agree... in the end it's one song... who cares? I'm not a huge fan of the song myself, but if FH wanted it, I'd say okay (it's rare that he'd have an opinion on anything anyway!)... I know for sure we'll be having the electric slide at my wedding, everyone in my family loves it and I don't mind. I'll probably dance to it too.

That's funny, me and my FH are having the same debate. I told him no way. It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if they did play it but I rather not. He kind of gave up the fight.
