Nope. It's expensive, but lasts a long time, and you just need to get a filling in about two to three weeks, depending on how well you keep your nails.

I'm doing permenant french too. That's what I always have, so I will probably add some kind of design or a silver stripe for the wedding day. It's great because it doesn't chip or smudge!

Re: Wedding Nails.....

for someone who's never been to the nail salon ( ), could you please tell me the deal on permanent french?

are they acrylic glue-ons?
additions to your nails?
your real nails?

what's the scoop? TIA.

Re: Wedding Nails.....

I'd love to do french but, my nails are pretty short most of the time so I most likely will be doing ballet slipper!

French actually makes them appear longer. I keep my nails short too and love how the French looks on them.

LOL...yes its a very pale pinky-whitish color....usually popular with brides that don't do french. BTW---MOST of us are kind.

Re: Wedding Nails.....

i hope this doesnt offend anyone...but i think a french looks somewhat 'tacky' on ones wedding day....ive both read and from seeing pictures feel that a nude color-marshmallow, mademoiselle and ballet slipeprs all by essi -look the classiest and the most refined. Something about a french on ones wedding day makes me think of high school prom. Thus i suggest ballet slippers or marshmallow.

its just my opinion, i hope i didnt offend anyone, its a matter of personal choice.
