give what you can afford. to be honest the weddings i have been in, i tend to give a smaller gift because of all the other expenses associated with it.

I think $300 is perfect! Your a BM you don't have to go overboard, you spent enough on all the other things

Thanks for the responses! That is good to know - I feel better. I'll definitely report back about the wedding too afterward! We are really looking forward to a weekend at the wineries!!
