I'll stay with my bridal party the night before, but I don't think they can afford a nice hotel for two nights. I haven't really thought about a hotel yet. We already live together, but I don't want to stay in our apartment the first night. Garden City Hotel sounds like a pretty great idea.

hopefully going back home to our own house! We won't be able to afford a hotel room after spending probably over 300K on a 2 bedroom shack on Long Island!!!!

I agree. When FH's brother got married at Chateau Briand, they stayed at the Holiday Inn the night of the wedding, so did the majority of the bridal party. FH's SIL was PISSED b/c all night the guys (drunk) kept coming and banging on their door and calling her new husband on his cell then ringing the room.
