Wedding Night!

Wedding Night!

Ok, so not sure if you guys thought of this yet, but where are you staying the night of the wedding??!! I don't want to stay in our apartment since it's a mother/daughter and his parents are upstairs. They give us 101% privacy, but I want to stay somewhere special! Any ideas?! The wedding is in Howard Beach, so I'm thinking the city!

TIA!!

I think a splurge for a night in the city would be awesome!! I dont know why i didnt think of that!!!

At first i was thinking of spending it in our apartment or house (whatever we get) because it will be the first night i stay there (refuse to spend the night before we are married). But now i am thinking of spending the night at a hotel.. But we'll see how the budget works out.

Re: Wedding Night!

we are def. gunna stay in a hotel since we already live together and our apt. will prob be such a crazy mess that night cuz of all the running around, and it will make it extra special sinc we are already so used to being in our apt. But we will prob just stay in whatever hotel we block rooms at for our guestts b/c we are planning on having an after party there, so it would just make sense for us to stay at the same place. If i wasnt doing that i think the city would be really nice. I mean...how often do you really stay overight in the city anyway? we live so close so it's not something u would normally do. Plus there are TONS of nice hotels in the city. If you decided to stay in the marriot marquiz in times square i would definately recommend that u go to their brunch the next morning/afternoon at the view restaurant! it has a view of all of the city and the restaurant rotates! it is so much fun! OR...just order room service

We are also staying at the Garden City Hotel the night of our Wedding. My RH gives us a discount there and that is where we are blocking off rooms for our guests.

I think so too. I think that if you are going to do a night in the city, becareful you dont have to go to far, you might be toooo tierd to travel as far. But we are going to stay where we are planning on having the RH where we are having it. If we wind up booking a hall with out rooms then we are booking a hotel near by.

Re: Wedding Night!

NYC hotels:

Hudson Hotel
Mandarin Oriental
Essex House
Hotel Gansevoort
Also, I recommend the Mariott Marquis in times Square. I stayed in room 1818, and there is an AWESOME view of the coca-cola sign! It is AWESOME!

These hotels are $$$....but hey! It's your wedding night...
