We had our reception at the Woodlands and setup a 35+ room block at the Fox Hollow Inn.....we decided to stay at the Fox as well and I'm so happy we did because it was amazing!

Our guests raved about it and our Royal suite was gorgeous! Its right off Jericho and Rt 135 (right near the LIE) so its easy to get to!

We stayed at the Huntington Hilton (got a good price on Priceline). It wasn't bad. There's a pool and hot tub, and the room was comfortable. I was just surprised they didn't have a fridge in the room! My mom had given us champagne, and we actually had to use the ice bucket!

We stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton in Plainview - it was very close by to our RH, North Ritz Club, plus we got our shuttle service through them to take our guests back and forth between the hotel and RH. They kept the bar open extra late (even later than we originally ask for, since our guests were generous to the bartenders!!) and it was very accessible for our guests to get to, right off the LIE. There were rose petals on the bed and around the tub and a bottle of chamagne on ice waiting for us when we arrived on our wedding night. All in all, it was a nice place to stay for one night before we headed off on our honeymoon.

Re: Wedding Night

So you have a hotel with a room block for your guests? If so, I would recommend staying there. That is what we are doing. Our wedding is a daytime wedding so we can then go back and still hang out with our family & friends who are staying at the hotel.

We are staying at the Courtyard Marriott.

We are staying at the Fox Hollow Inn. A block of 10 gives you a free night if you go during a promotion - the Cocktail Reception they host in the summer.

We are staying at the Garden City hotel. FIL said we can stay anywhere we want that night on them. We figured we would never have another good reason to stay there.

OHEKA is gorgeous! My FSIL got married there last year, I was a bridesmaid.. It was amazing to get ready there, and the bridal suite was ridiculous!

FMIL was going to get us a night at the Garden City Hotel but we opted to stay where we blocked rooms--the Hilton Garden Inn---so we could party with anyone who is staying the night!
