Okay so randomly FH and I started talking about the wedding night (this always seems the most important thing to the grooms ) and I said to him, ha ha, we will be sooo tired I think we will just collapse by the time the day is over..

Theses stories are great.. Being pregnant now I have not wanted any part of so I guess I can give in on our wedding night.. Also congrats on the honeymoon baby.. That is awesome!!!

Oh me too! me too! we even both went to confession after pre-cana and then started the abstinence.
See the trick fr future brides is to take Pre-Cana closer to the wedding ...3 months was hard for us, but not as bad as 7 would have been!
They tell you to abstain at Pre Cana???

A total must! We got home around 2, went thru the cards with my parents. Went to bed around 4:30am (daylight savings time ended that night). Was at the airport by 8am.

OF COURSE!!!!! Our wedding ended at 6. So by the time we got to the hotel and settled in went in the hot tub in our room undid my 30 something bobby pins that were in my hair. We had enough calming down time before hanky panky!!

We didn't 'consummate our marriage' until 3 DAYS AFTER!!!!
We were so exhausted the wedding night, that HE passed out before me!!!
And we got up at 6am for our HM flight, so it took us a couple of days to adjust.

since this thread was started before I got married and you bumped it, I can now answer ... we did NOT! we passed out COLD! I fell asleep in my tiara. I was way too tired to even wash my face. as soon as the dress was off I was
