Hi everyone! I'm getting married Nov 25th at the Vineyards in Aquebogue(formerly known as Vineyard Caterers). We're reserving a block of rooms for our guests at the Hilton Garden Inn in Riverhead, and I'm wondering what everyone's advice is...should we stay there ourselves, or go somewhere different? Any recommendations? I'd like our stay to be somewhat romantic.

FH and I are staying at the same hotel as our guests. We will be in a different room and hopefully a different floor than everyone else so it will still be romantic. If you are worried about it not being romantic you could always go somewhere different.

I stayed there when it first opened. It's a nice hotel and you since it's so big, you could have a lot of space away from your guests. I definitely recommend the whirlpool room if you stay there.

we are debating with the idea of a luxury hotel suite in NYC the night of. Preferable something over looking Central Park

We stayed at the same hotel we blocked for our guests and it worked out great. We got back to the hotel and hung out at the bar with the guests staying there, got some White Castle brought back to the hotel for everyone and the next morning when we woke up, we met up with my family downstairs to celebrate Mother' Day with some brunch at the hotel.

I am staying at this hotel. They have an extra large room on the second floor with an inroom jacuzzi. This is where we are staying for two nights before our HM.
