wedding night hotel
Where is everyone staying on their wedding nite? And how much did it cost? I'm spending a lot on the honeymoon, so I'm trying to find something not too expensive.

Re: wedding night hotel
FH doesn't want to stay at a hotel that night. we're getting married the 15th and are leaving for the HM on the 17th. so he wants to spend our wedding night and the next night at home. i was like 'we can't just go home after our wedding!' he doesn't understand why. maybe it's silly, but i just want the night to be special. we spend every night at home. i don't want to go home after our big day like it's any other night. i don't know how to explain it to him. he just doesn't get it. much like his comment to me last week 'this is your day, not mine'

I have the same thought process...we are staying at the Wingate, and I am staying the night before with my MOH and a few BM's....I figured since we are saving on limos it's nice to to splurge on the bridal suite!

Re: wedding night hotel
Holiday Inn-It is new and the Bridal suite is Huge and beautiful. I am staying there the night before with some BM's and a bunch of out of town guests. The hair and make up people are coming there to get us ready. FH and his family are also sating at the hotel the night before. We are getting the Bridal Suite for $249 a night cause all out OTT guests are staying there.

Re: wedding night hotel
We are staying in the Hilton Garden Inn in Ronkonkoma on Vet's Highway. We have all of our guests staying there. It is $129 per night but we are getting the room complimentary because all of our guests are booked there (I think...thats what my mom told me but who knows if she is covering the cost)

Re: wedding night hotel
We will be spending our first night as Mr and Mrs in our own home...I love our bed!
Plus I don't want to pack everything up, have to cart everything around. If our wedding location had a hotel attached I might feel differently, but if all my BMs are getting ready at my house and our dog will be at our house, I'd rather be there.
Poor Brew will miss us while we're on our HM for 10 days.

Re: wedding night hotel
Probably the Huntington Hilton but I'm waiting for the Courtyard Marriott to be finish on Rte 110. It's currently under construction but if they have bridal suites I would rather stay there. It's closer to RH.

Re: wedding night hotel
We're staying at the Garden City Hotel, and I believe we paid $550. I think my FH booked some sort of wedding night package, and that's why it's more expensive. I've seen rates of much lower for there.
