Would it bother you if someone attending your wedding, who wasn't an out-of-state guest and could easily drive home after the wedding, spent the night at your wedding night hotel? Is it rude?
For me it would depend on who the friend was. If it was one of my very good friends then no, probably not.

Re: Wedding Night Hotel
I would hope that everyone stayed in the hotel so that we can drink in bar after the wedding and/or have breakfast togther in the morning.

Rude? Not at all
I personally want everyone to stay over and party all night with us. I would rather not people worry about driving home tired or with a few cocktails in them.
I booked as many rooms as I could for this reason also

Re: Wedding Night Hotel
I totally agree. I booked as many rooms as I could. All of my sisters, friends and family from the area are staying. I dont want anyone driving and a party ends when the people leave.
We actually booked a confernece room at our hotel from 1am-3am so all the over nighters have somewhere to keep it going!

Re: Wedding Night Hotel
I don't think it is. We are staying in the same hotel where we booked rooms for our guests. It gives us a chance to thank them again before everyone goes home in the morning. We are even hosting a morning after breakfast!

I totally agree. Both of my parents and my uncle are planning on staying at the hotel. I'd rather everyone take advantage of the very expensive shuttle that I'm running to the hotel.

We don't have many OOT guests but I wouldn't mind if the few we have or anyone that wanted stayed at the same hotel as us.

I also want people staying at the hotel, I don't want to worry about driving. As long as they don't knock of my door i'm happy!!
