Ok Im having a debate with one of my bridemaids maybe you girls could help us out! If im blocking a bunch of rooms in a hotel is the bride expected to pay for all the hotel rooms or is the guest expected to at discounted price? Help us we want some feedback!

the guests are responsible for booking and paying for the rooms at the discounted rate for the block.

ive never heard of the bride having to pay. you block rooms so that your guests get a discounted rate

the guests pay but BE CAREFUL...some hotels have you sign a contract that says if you don't meet your minimum block you have to pay for part of it.

Yep the guests pay because I think I would have been broke paying for 20 rooms. Usually the guest calls up anyway to get their own room with your code provided by the hotel so technically it is being held on their cards already.

guest definitely pay--unless you're loaded and WANT to pay, but I wouldn't recommend it!!!!!

The guests pay for them. When you block rooms they are at a discounted rate (you can negotiate with them to get the rate down as low as possible). FM me if you want any info about the Hyatt Regency in Hauppauge

Guests pay...but i will say that my bro & SIL paid for my hotel room when i went to their wedding & was a BM...i didn't expect it...but sure did appreciate it!
