Anyone have any recommendations for hotels for the Wedding night? Long Island or NYC is fine but we don't want to spend too much, $400 at absolute most, hopefully much less but I would go up to that for the perfect place

Re: Wedding night hotels?
We stayed at the Garden City Hotel...I believe it was around $300 and we LOVED it!
Other great hotels I've stayed at The W hotel in NYC The Waldorf Astoria (love this hotel)

Thanks! Did you get a suite at these hotels or are the regular rooms romantic enough?

Re: Wedding night hotels?
For our wedding night we got the Executive Suit which was very romantic...they even put wine and candles in the room for us. It was very nice.
At the W and WA I've gotten room but they are huge rooms and very lovely.

Re: Wedding night hotels?
We were flying out the next morning so we wanted to stay somewhere near LaGuardia. We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott. It was a lovely hotel and the room was very nice and clean. We only spent about $150 for the night, that included breakfast but we had to leave before they started serving.
ETA: They also have a free shuttle from the hotel to the airport.

where do you prefer closer to the reception hall or closer to the airport? We're most likely staying at the Marriot or Sheraton by our RH.

We are okay with pretty much anywhere, we would just like a really romantic room for not too much money. A fireplace would be amazing...

For a $400 budget these are the places you can stay in the manhatten for:
Ritz Carlton-Battery Park Waldorf Astroia Millenium Hilton The Alex Hotel Royalton
Kepp in mind these would be for standard rooms not suites.
