Isn't it tradition for the mother to give the daughter white lingerie at the Bridal shower? Even if it's not, I wouldn't mind a short white teddy with a robe HOWEVER, I can't find anything that my mother could give me in front of a bunch of women!
Is it just me or is everything so sexed up out there? I will be pooped by the time we get to our hotel room. Whatever happens, happens but all I see is wedding night garter belts, thongs, nipple tassels!! I'm no prude but dang, I want something normal even if I wear the nasty stuff later. My mom can't give me a whip at the bridal shower for Christ's Sake!
Any suggestions?

macys and jc penny usually have lingerie thats not like boobie tassels and stuff... thats where my mom got for my sister and my cousin
just look for regular white lace lingerie there is plenty out there - you can go to macy's or kohls - I'm sure they don't sell nip tassles there lol

My mother found a gorgeous set at Bloomingdales in Roosevelt Field. I honestly wasnt expecting it from her!!

I guess when I Google wedding night lingerie, it comes up with the more lustier choices. Thanks. I'll tell my mom to try Macy's and the other stores.

i am easily embarrassed so i told my sister no lingerie or underwear hanging off the walls at my shower. plus FHs grandmother was at the shower, she still yells at him if she sees him with a beer in his hand.
i went to Macy's last weekend & they had some really nice sets. i got a beautiful satin slip with a satin robe, in white. you may want to wait until after Valentines day because everything else was red, black & pink.
