Wedding Nightmare (Long)

Ok..I am home from work AGAIN sick for the 3rd time in 2-weeks. I know I am taking a lot of Nyquill but the Wedding Nightmare's are becoming rediculous! Here is last night's dream: I was standing alone in an open clearing and all my bridesmaids pull up in the limo. I remember saying how pretty the flowers are with their dresses until my sister gets out of the car. (I am stressing b/c she wears a 36DDD bra but only a size 10 dress and she lives in CA so we are ordering her dress strictly on measurements) My sister was wearing her dress over her other clothes b/c she couldn't even get the dress zipped up! I was so upset. Then, we are in a huge church where thousands of people showed up. Next thing I know, I am walking out into the church in my sweatpants and t-shirt. The usher was my mailman from work and he looked at me and told me I better get dressed. Then, we were giving our vows and I looked in the mirror and I had this huge pink hat on my head with my red flowers and white dress. Then I woke up. What the heck is going on???

Wedding Nightmare (Long)

I can sympathize with you. My wedding in not until July 12, 2002, and I 've been having nightmares for months already, only about once a month. The best (or worst) is I'm in my wedding dress and driving myself to my wedding. I'm on my way, and I have to stop at the ATM to get money to pay for everything. I'd say that's a good sign that we all need to stop worrying about all the wedding stuff!

Good luck, where is your reception? What vendors have you booked so far?

Lands End! That`s all we have booked. We are calling the priest back this weekend to set up an appt (playing phone tag.) My mom really wants me to use Michael Fairchild (photography), but we haven`t called him yet (problably in the next few weeks.) That`s it though. I think we will get a lot done over the summer. What about you?

Wedding Nightmare (Long)

I've been having them too. Had one the other night. I live in NC and my veil is here and i'll have to bring it with me to LI. Also I have a special cup at home to do a toast with at the reception. In the dream I left both of them in N.C. and didn't find out until the rehearsal. I couldn't stop crying! Usually my dream is about the dress. It's always messed up in the dream somehow. Recently I had one that I didn't remember the rehearsal at all and it was making me so upset that I couldn't remember such an important evening. UGH! We all have them.

Yankees and Mets

I had a dream that the Yankees and Mets were in the world series (I'm getting married in late September) and everyone left the dance floor to watch a small tv at the bar. No one cared about us and the lead singer in the band kept announcing the score instead of playing.

Thanks, my date is Sept 30, I'll start having that dream now too! LOL. I can picture it with my FI's family too...NO TVS ALLOWED, or radios... or running to your car...maybe I will just lock everyone in the hall....

Not to scare anyone but I did hear of a wedding this Fall where people were outside listening to radios during the World Series! Although I am a huge sports fan I think that is so rude!!

Yankees and Mets - That Actually happened at my Friends Wed

Last year - I forgot what game it was but all the guys were glued to the TV. The DJ announced the score along the way. The groom is a hugh Met fan and the bride was very understanding so all was well..

That happened to my cousin too, but it is not the same person, because he is a Yankee fan. That would have been really funny if we were at the same wedding!

Yankees and Mets

My cousin was married this past Oct. on the day of a World Series game. The whole family is really into baseball, but my brother is an absolute maniac. He had on a Mets jersey under his suit jacket (in place of a vest). He also wired up a headset under his clothes and listened all during cocktail hr. The problem came when there was no radio reception in the main reception rm. My brother was in the hall until the game finished. Many other guests stayed out there with him getting updates. He only came in a few time to eat the first 2 courses. When the Mets finally one, he took off his jacket and came running in across the dance floor yelling. Luckily, everyone seemed to think it was funny, but I wanted to crawl in a hole. The DJ then announced the score. The bride said there is no way to avoid everything. If it's not the world series, it's the superbowl.
