im not sure if this is the right place to post this, but my friend told me about this site and i thought it might help.
supposed to have gotten married in september, wedding was called off and now i have beautiful dress and nothing to do with it. I am trying to sell it as i have no use for it and would like to make back some of the money that was obviously lost in the process.
It is a Tomasina gown style 1238 in a very pale blush color with an ivory overlay (also shown on tomasina.com) that was purchased from the Wedding Salon of Manhasset for $4200, which includes the price of the alterations i had done, ie; bustle, lace has been attached to bottom and i had the neckline made straight across as opposed to sweetheart. it is a size 14, although i am generally a size 10 or 12.
I am willing to accept best offer. I just want to have it off my hands and not have to worry about what to do with it at this point.
Please feel free to get back to me with any questions. Again, i am sorry if this is the wrong place to post for this, and am open to any suggestions anyone may have on where else i may be able to post a listing for it.
Thanks, Melissa

Sorry to hear of your wedding being called off. I already have bought my dress. I would try to post the dress on the 08 and 09 boards since most of those girls probably havent bought theirs yet. Also, think about selling on ebay or craigslist. Good Luck. Beautiful Dress.

Melissa Have you considered putting the dress on Craigslist or Ebay? Just a thought...putting it on a few sites might increase the chance of someone seeing it!! Good luck!

If I weren't married already I would love that dress (and its the size I was when I got married).
Try ebay. You'll sell it there. Also list it on the knot.
Best of luck and I'm sorry.

Sorry to hear that. I too am trying to cut the losses here by selling the balance of my flowers/photography/videography package at Prestige Weddings. Good luck!

Hi Melissa - I'm sorry to hear about your wedding. Is the dress still available for sale? I'm definitely interested in it.
Thanks.

Re: wedding off, trying to get rid of my dress
have you sold the dress yet? I am helping my niece for her wedding and she loves the dress and the size if perfect.
If it's not sold, how much is the gown? I live in MD.
Thank you,
