What do you use for the organization of your guest-lists, budget, addresses, etc.? For example, Google has a docs.google.com/wedding that seems convenient and liweddings has some resources as well.
I am currently using excel, but I feel like it's archaic
I am wondering how you organized brides keep it all together!?!

Re: Wedding organization
This is what I got and its amazing! I have everything in it and it has folders, checklists, ideas, budgets! Love it!! =)
But i'm not sure that its the best for organization..you have to write everything down hahaha. Theres an 'organizer' on here that I may try otherwise I'll prob go with Excel too!

Re: Wedding organization
I have a binder for hard copy stuff, and I have all my comp. stuff in google doc...just regular spreadsheets though I will check out the wedding ones you posted. So its basically excel but at least I can access it everywhere. So far I'm uding that for keeping track of guests list (addresses, who I've mailed things to, gifts and thank yous) and I have another one for vendor research

Re: Wedding organization
I use excel. I tried using other 'wedding worksheets', but found them annoying. By using excel I could customize the budget sheet exactly as I wanted (I did use those w.worksheets as guidelines). Plus with excel it is easy to make labels, email guest list to mom/FH, ect..

me too! i used it in the beginning before i really started organizing everything. now i have THE MOTHER OF ALL WEDDING SPREADSHEETS lol
It has different tabs for each 'event' such as engagement party, bridal shower, RD, hotel, budget and timeline. another LIW bride gave me hers to work off of and I just customized from there. The budget section is awesome because all the math is done for me (including how much more i need to save, yikes!).
If anyone wants me to email it to them I'd be happy to share

I have my guestlist spreadsheet formatted to mail merge. I have a first column for colloquial name just for me ('Mom'), then RSVP, then last name/ first name/ and/ first name 2/ prefix (Mr. and Mrs.)/ additional (kids)/ and guest/ address/ city, state, zipcode/ phone/ email... just fill in the applicable columns. Right now I have one row per invitation.
That's exactly the same set up my guest list and there's separate tab for vendors. Since I'm currently comparing prices vendors i have tabs for Venue, Favors, Dresses, invitations and Emergency Items (needed for the day of the wedding)
