How many of you had a problem deciding who would be in your wedding party. FH and myself can't decide, actually mostly him. He keeps felling he is going to hurt someone's feelings. If it was up to me, I would only have five on each side. Now its looking more like six or seven.

Re: Wedding Party?
I hear ya, girl! it's tough to decide---here's a radical idea that i'm standing firm on: not having a wedding party. When i look back on the 8 bridal parties i was in, the majority of them turned into a catty-b.s-filled nonsense.
plus, the expense involved with being a bridesmaid--it's a huge financial committment. A wedding that i'm in now, the 7 bridal girls chipped in $200 each for the shower invites and thank yous, videocamera and digital camera, and games throughout the shower.
So here's the breakdown for this one particular wedding: Engagement gift: $100 cash, beautiful wooden photo box: $50 Shower: $200 Dress: $250 with alterations Shoes: free: hopefully i can get borrow from my sis Bachelorette Party: $100-$200 WEdding gift: $300
the clincher is that its my fiance's brother wedding, so my fiance is the best man! Let's just multiply my lsat by 2.5! THe bachelor party is putting us over the edge!
The key thing: dont feel like you have to have someone if they had you 3 years ago--certain friendships do change over time, and dont feel guilty or bad about who you're asking. i'ts your gig!
How does this compare with everyone else's experiences?
