Does the usher walk down the aisle?
I have a close friend that I have known since he was 12. Him and his sister are like family to us now. His sister is one of my bridesmaids and although my fiance likes him a lot he does not want to make him a groomsman since he is not even having his close friends as groomsmen and doesn't want to hurt their feelings. We really want to include my friend somehow in the ceremony and were thinking of usher. However I would like him to walk down the aisle but was not sure if that was done normally.
If not an usher is there another role he can play that you can suggest? I don't think he would like to read in front of everyone one any other ideas?
