wedding party etiquette

Okay the last 'wedding' I went to I think I was about 5...
I am having such a hard time figuring out what to do for mine!!!!

FH and I were only planning on having a best man and maid of honor. Well FH's sister has decided that this is breaking her heart (since she is not MOH). He really really wants to include her. I am fine with it, but is it okay to have an uneven bridal party?

I have seen people have uneven bridal parties. Its really just what you want to do and what makes you happiest.

If you don't want to include her in the bridal party, you can consider having her do a reading at the ceremony. HTH

It can be uneven... I'm all about even numbers so I had to make some changes but YES, you can do whatever you like!

yea mine is uneven and I have seen uneven BPs before. Just do whatever you feel comfortable with

My BP is uneven - 4 guys and 3 girls.

Yes you can. We have an uneven BP. 7 girls, 5 guys.

We are uneven also! I think it's actually pretty common now a days.

Def doesn't have to be even, go with what will make you happy! Ours is uneven 4 girls and 3 guys! It whatever works for you both

It is ok to have uneven briadl parties but why not giving her special job for the wedding.. doing a reading... thigns like that? Just an idea--- May be that will unbreak her heart--- people are so dramatic!

there is absolutely not problem with an uneven BP. I have one more girl that FI does, but I have 2 MOHs so they will both be walking back down the aisle with the BM.

I'm living by this rule as far as my wedding:

It's our day so, do what you like.

Uneven number is nothing....enjoy your day and don't stress over the little things.
